Responsible for the operation and support of the video and IT infrastructure of the VEO product (now blim) of Televisa Group, administration of OPEX and CAPEX for annual and monthly investments, relationship with more than 10 suppliers, creation of the KPI for the vice presidency of IZZI operations, management of growth projects and relationship with group subsidiaries through 3 area managers and 30 operation and support engineers, achieving the availability of 99.95% of the service.• Manage an annual budget of $ 250 thousand USD for OPEX for infrastructure, supplier services and operation of the platform.• Design new technologies based on the monthly growth of 5% of new subscribers and concurrent users, designing the infrastructure for live events for the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil, where 10 thousand concurrent users were supported for the inaugural match.• Create KPI for the vice presidency of video operations for the consumption analysis of the month-to-month subscriber platform, content reproductions, service availability and administration report of OPEX and CAPEX.• Savings of 20% in the annual OPEX budget based on analysis of support data requested from suppliers, saving was based on the operational capacity of the 30 engineers who provided 7x24 support.

Responsible of the engineering and innovation area for the video area, managing the feasibility of more than 20 innovation projects.• Manage the evaluation of more than 5 technologies in a period of 18 months for the transmission of video over IP networks for the VEO technology base with the aim of setting a trend of the pay TV market in Mexico with more than 5 million subscribers.• Design RFP for 1 IP digital head end with the integration of new IT technologies, the objective was to renew the TV system to reduce physical space by 30% and increase capacity by 50% for video processing.• Install infrastructure for the VEO product in one of the IZZI data centers with a value greater than 8 million USD, the installation time of the system took 10 months with the integration of more than 10 suppliers, the IT infrastructure and video infrastructure performance monitoring system.• Integration of IT and video systems for the beginning of a new stage in video processing,Manage VEO project under the PMO model for communication and development of the project for 5 areas involved in the project, the design of the project took 5 months

Reception of requests from the video area for the implementation of new equipment, performance measurement through reports with application dates and delivery dates.• Responsible for the installation of new equipment for the video area for the edition of advertising content and video on demand, achieving the reduction of production times by 40%.• Implement a dedicated link between Televisa Chapultepec and IZZI for the transfer of files, reducing operating time by 80%.• Design a video storage system to support more than 2000 hours of content for the Cablevision On Demand product, the investment of the system was $ 55 thousand USD.• Installation of 3 new work stations for video editing in high definition, integration with the video processing system.• Management of modulation and transmission systems for 14 sites in Mexico City.• Integrate the monitoring system at the point of video transmission to the subscribers in order to identify video quality problems to reduce the response time from 60 minutes to 10 minutes.• Support the video production in the satellite reception area of ​​10 main antennas and distribution to the external plant of 14 sites in Mexico City.• Initial research of video over IP systems for new video services, evaluation of 2 providers in a period of 10 months for the definition of feasibility of new technologies for 1.5 million subscribers.
