I have hands-on experience with a variety of technologies and software projects, including game development, enterprise application development, and finally research/teaching work related to human-computer interaction, computer graphics, and programming. I was a team member, team leader, and also a project manager.My personal highlights:🕹️ Co-founded a game development company and released several games (PC and web).📚 I have been a Computer Science teacher for several years.📡 I was a consultant for companies working with health technology, AI/speech, games and education.⚡ I created my own code editor (Codebot) and made it a web-based editor.🔭 I wrote some scientific articles about emotions, games and computers.🧐 I published a software/method to detect players' stress and boredom based on heart rate and facial actions (all done remotely, without sensors).💬 I enjoy teaching and writing tutorials (I've written about many topics related to gamedev).🙌 The Understanding Sterring Behaviors tutorial series I created is the top1 result on Google regarding steering behaviors. It was also praised by Craig W. Reynolds, the original inventor of the technique (🤯).💚 I've been involved with open-source for a long time. I was co-maintainer (of Flixel Community, a game engine), main maintainer (of cvui, a C++/python UI library for OpenCV) and contributor (Haxeflixel and Flixel Studio, for example).I was one of the co-founders of Decadium, a game development company. For 7 years I worked as a professional game developer, acting as a senior programmer and/or project manager in a wide variety of entertainment applications.
