DRVN is a media company that is taking over self-improvement content on YouTube by making it fun and entertaining.Our main channel is Leon Hendrix, where Leon shares transformational journeys with his viewers to help them grow into achieving their full potential.Below is what I did (written in fancy LinkedIn speak)- Developed a systematic recruitment approach, expanding a solo-creator venture into a team of eight (4 full-time employees, 4 contractors) and learned how to effectively recruit and manage people.- Developed and managed an efficient financial tracking system using QuickBooks Online and worked with our bookkeeper and accountants to keep things organized- Successfully negotiated and managed over $50k in brand partnerships, demonstrating a proven track record in driving revenue and managing high-quality campaigns. I founded a small business in the health and wellness niche that aimed to help men in their 50s stay at peak health. I decided to close down the business after realizing that I wasn't passionate about it. Some of the tasks that this involved are:- Worked with a doctor to develop a new to the market sleep supplement that was targeted at helping men over 50.- Built lead capture funnels through the use of lead magnets to build out my email list- Managed email marketing campaigns and created various email flows- Delegated work to multiple virtual assistants and managed them through internal systems- Created a pitch deck and pitched to a panel of investors- Accepted into the second cohort of the Capitalism.com Incubator

I was a business analyst within the Amazon team in the Consumer Business Group at 3M. I oversaw the data of 2 divisions, which included over 700+ SKUs and millions of dollars in yearly revenue.- Analyzed business performance and identified potential issues/opportunities for the sales teams to address- Collaborated with the Data Engineering Team when looking at which data sources needed to be added to our system for more complete analyses- Created and presented business updates based on market analysis which I translated into insights and recommendations for the team- Utilized DAX and python to pull data and create more elaborate dashboards for the Sales team

I was an R&D engineer within the SIBG Lab, one of the most valuable research labs within 3M. I worked on various technologies, ranging from additive manufacturing to finite element analysis with the goal to create and improve products within the Safety & Industrial Business Group.- Built out polymer 3D printing capabilities within the SIBG Lab and led acquisition on multiple 3D printing machines- Utilized Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the structural stability and design for manufacturing of various physical products within the SIBG portfolio- Applied innovative optimization tools using python tied to FEA software to evaluate and improve CAD designs

- Led development of testing tool to visualize and manipulate point clouds collected from a Velodyne VLP16 LiDAR that is currently being used within 3M.- Created library of functions that utilized the Point Cloud Library (C++) to aid researchers within 3M test their materials using LiDAR.

- Learned to utilize Aerotech’s Infinite Field of View software and programmed scripts using AeroBasic/G-Code for a galvo scanner/gantry laser system.- Improved tolerances from approx.  1.2 mm to less than  30 m through PID tuning of the X/Y gantry and calibrating galvo scanner mirrors.

- Performed multiple statistical analyses for various data sets of +100 tested devices using Minitab software.- Wrote numerous engineering studies with impact on how to restructure current testing procedures.- Performed Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R) study on new test procedure and wrote detailed test method.- Studied mechanical components of bipolar energy laparoscopic surgery devices.

- Developed a glove with embedded soft sensors as a method to explore haptic feedback between user and device.- Trained in novel soft sensor fabrication using silicone and EGaIN and helped to innovate process for greater production yield and flexibility.- Learned to design soft sensors for specific applications using analytical and FEM methods.- Contributed to efforts in developing soft sensor networks for wearable human motion measurement.

- Selected as one of 230 for an 18-month professional development program for high-achieving diverse talent- Complete business case studies and intensive projects to hone analytical, quantitative and communication skills - Participate in four conferences hosted by industry leaders, such as Citi, Google, Credit Suisse, Deloitte and Target

- Developed a procedure to standardize oven recipes across the plant and implemented the aforementioned procedure in one of five ovens, eliminating variability across shifts and improving overall efficiency. - Participated in various Kaizen studies in order to improve the efficiency of specific processes. - Examined the relationship between the cartoner-bagger machines and formulated a detailed yet simple instruction manual in order to standardize procedures and reduce downtime. - Participated in an intern wide business simulation and ranked third across all teams; familiarized myself with the financial aspect of a small company as well as with Mondelez’s business model.

- Researched new and creative methods for a single-port Laparoscopic surgery device and assisted in the redesign and optimization of an initial prototype.- Utilized Solidworks to convert hand-drawn designs into 3D designs before manufacturing prototypes.- Manufactured parts for alpha prototype using various machine shop tools, including: mills, lathes, and 3D printer.- Presented weekly and monthly reports of advances for the prototype to faculty advisor as well as a final presentation to Board demonstrating all progress.

- Provided on site support for a period of two weeks controlling the suspension mechanism for the Ground Vibration Tests (GVT) for the new Airbus A-320neo aircraft in Toulouse, France.- Administered and recorded a series of tests involving a prototype of a Low Speed Single Arm Launcher for Rolls Royce until lowest friction material combination was achieved to optimize launcher efficiency. - Analyzed a “Sunglasses fatigue test bench” for ORAO in order to write a detailed instruction manual describing: how the machine functioned, how to replace broken pieces, and how to mount and dismount a variety of set ups among other specifications. - Wrote a detailed Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) for the Low Speed Single Arm Launcher.
