Diversity and cultural transformation are the key words when it comes to Fernando Diniz’ career. He started his career as a journalist working at magazines, newspapers and radio stations. Later he worked as public relations, experienced in corporate reputation and crisis management and then, he became an advertising man working as Strategic Planner and Content Creative at traditional and digital agencies. Fernando has more than 20 years of experience in comunication.As an advertising man, Diniz worked for agencies such as Loducca, TBWA and Y&R from where he went to F.biz at a moment digital advertising was still incipient at the country. Diniz faced a double challenge: structuring the planning department and developing a brand oriented working culture, something completely new in a digital agency. According to Grupo Consultores research, his planning department was considered to be the best in the market in 2014, and important fact that helped the agency win its first Effie Awards. At F.biz, Diniz also developed the content department, making the first Brazilian agency to hire publishers. Nowadays, F.biz has become the biggest digital agency in the country, bought by WPP Group. After then, Diniz become part of the board of DPZ&T, Publicis Group, a merge between two big Brazilian agencies: DPZ and Taterka. At DPZ&T he faced the challenge to help the company in its innovation process, implementing a more digital thinking as well as developing a more content focused work. In 2011 he was nominated for the Caboré Award, the most important award in the country and he was the winner in 2017 as the Strategic Planner of the year.Diniz graduated in Journalism (FIAM) and History (USP). He also took lessons on documentary direction (International Cinema Academy) and integrated the Executive Program at Singularity University, NASA, EUA.He was also involved in Academic matters acting as a professor at Miami Ad School/ESPM for ten years.
