I guide the planning, financial analysis, procurement, technical implementation management, and ultimate delivery of global network and telecom projects, devising strategies and roadmaps for a diverse portfolio of network technology solutions. I’ve modernized networks and datacenters for Flex as well as for key clients across the U.S. and Brazil among other locales.

I owned the management and support of IT Infrastructure and Operations (LAN, WLAN, Voice, Video, local Datacenters, and Helpdesk) across Texas locations. Directed daily operations and guided 11-member technical helpdesk team, network engineers, and systems administrators to support local and remote users. Directed project management in support of internal and external infrastructure enhancements and modernizations in alignment with service level agreement and with internal standards and policies. Managed vendor relationships and negotiated contracts for services and supplies. Devised and managed CapEx budgets. Coordinate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functional departments to establish budgets, control costs, and plan projects related to IT infrastructure requirements. Directly managed layout changes on office and manufacturing environment. Collaborated with internal and client technical teams to architect and implement network solutions in support of manufacturing processes. Integrate existing client systems with new systems.

I was transferred from Brazil to the U.S. to support and implement an inaugural core network and IT infrastructure including test engineering systems for a major customer.

Design, implement and support network worldwide solutions including our three corporate Datacenters located in Sacramento, Hong Kong, and Dusseldorf; Design and implement customers and partners network integration for data and business processes exchanges; Network performance and monitoring and reporting; Support and training GNO team based in India; L3/L4 Support for regional teams; Manage global maintenance and support contracts word wide for GNT systems.

In charge of Industrial Park Telecom/Network, Servers Operation and Helpdesk areas which scope is expansive and includes design, installation, implementation, support, administration and management authority for: - Manage LAN/WAN/WLAN data and voice services, Information Security and Datacenter in a complex environment built on best and world class solutions such as Cisco, F5, Aruba, VMWare, HP EVA and EMC SAN/Storage solutions, Dell and Siemens. - Direct and coordinate action plans for daily operations, establish work priorities, ensure SLA to our customers and support 1st tier staff handled effectively while meeting costs, productivity and quality goals. - Managed Network Systems Administrators, Helpdesk Analysts and Information Systems Engineers. - Direct project management efforts in support of goals. - Diverse responsibilities including technical and project leadership, operations management, policy and procedure development, infrastructure inventory and control. - Manage relationship and contracts with services providers and vendors. Define solutions to buy, quotes, budget and CAPEX management and, suppliers direct contacts. - Coordinate with functional departments (e.g. engineering and manufacturing) new infrastructure projects to support new businesses and/or changes on manufacturing lines or office environment. Define the network infrastructure layouts, costs, vendors, quotes and purchase requests. Directly works and manage the layouts changes. - Support on infrastructure management and manage consolidated IT contracts for Brazil sites (Sorocaba campus, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus and Sao Paulo).

Manage daily Helpdesk operations and lead a local 10-person technical team and virtual team to support local campus IT and regional sites in Brazil as well as few other locations in the U.S. (Dallas, Portsmouth, and Youngsville).
