In 2019, while living in Hong Kong, he conducted on-site research on international water systems and climate resilience across South and Southeast Asian nations. In 2020, Fernando founded the Triton ReGenesis Systems Research Institute, dedicated to crafting resilient coastal structures through innovative seawater electrolysis technology. Joining Gemini Seawater Systems as an Engineering Project Manager in 2022, he focuses on designing, constructing, and installing reverse osmosis desalination and membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems in the Caribbean.
