Provide executive leadership for $45 million agency with 60 juvenile justice, criminal justice and child welfare programs in 11 states and Canada. Responsible for direct supervision of the Executive Leadership team and provide general oversight to nearly 500 employees. Partners with the board and staff to develop and implement a strategic vision for the agency

Responsible for oversight and management of the Department's administrative functions including, Human Resource Management (Employment Services, Labor Relations, Payroll and Worker's Compensation) and Financial Services (Fiscal, Budget, Contract Management, Revenue Enhancement and Information Systems). Oversaw the Engineering Division, which is responsible for buildings and grounds for a statewide Department with 15 offices and 3 24-hour residential facilities.

Responsible for quality improvement infrastructure of the state's child welfare agency. Oversaw the Administrative Case Review Division, Office of the Ombudsman, Child Abuse and Neglect Careline, Special Investigations Unit, Program Review Division and the Office for Research and Evaluation. Served as a member of the DCF Executive Team and as the Commissioner's designee to the State Advisory Council.

• Responsible for Risk Management Unit, providing information to all direct service bureaus regarding critical incidents and significant events at all child and youth-serving programs• Coordinated the state's Child & Family Service Review (CFSR) and Program Improvement Plan (PIP) processes• Oversaw implementation of the Connecticut Comprehensive Outcomes Review (CCOR), the Department's internal qualitative case review system modeled on the federal CFSR• Coordinate the development and implementation of the Department's Practice Model
