Oakville Enterprises Corporation (a conglomerate of energy and infrastructure companies): In this role, I developed and implemented the supply chain infrastructure from the ground up, reporting directly to the CFO. I manage and implement supply chain infrastructure to drive profit gains for regulated and non-regulated companies across corporation. I also devise cost-effective strategic sourcing/procurement and provide cross-functional management while leveraging supply chain skills into continued improvement. ★ Embarked on an ambitious growth strategy, through a growing portfolio of operating subsidiaries providing energy and infrastructure related services throughout Ontario, and through electricity distribution and generation assets represented by Oakville Hydro Electricity Distribution Inc. and associated entities.★ Directed $350M+ annual budget, enhancing supply chain capabilities by implementing infrastructure best practices and improving operating processes. ★ Spearheaded management among several departments to drive company success in strategic procurement, vendor relationships, supply chain risk management, contracts, fleet, and facilities. ★ Provided outstanding D&I leadership presence for company and direct reports, applying high standards of accountability in company governance, public presence, and talent acquisition and development.★ GridSmartCity Co-operative Group: Led Procurement teams (from 13 Power/Hydro corporations) to exploring synergies, developing and implementing procurement programs across different cities.★ Reported to the CFO.

Viterra (international agribusiness corporation):During my tenure with Viterra, I forged efficient and effective supply chain structure and systems for 500 locations within their international agribusiness corporation. I also directed and managed operation activities spanning the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, reporting directly to the VP of North American Operations. Please see article attached. ★ Built high-performing teams, empowering them to apply best practices to enhance cost-effectiveness. ★ Devised and implemented global procurement redesign and improvement that resulted in more productive vendor relationships, procurement strategies, SCM, and contract agreements. ★ Developed data sets to analyze supplier performance, maintaining compliance to company standards of excellence; applied data from best purchasing practices to win improvements.★ Reported to the Vice President of NA Operations.

For the time that I spent at Modelo University, I played a multi-faceted role that included directing, organizing, implementing, and managing university-wide procurement processes as well as teaching classes in business administration, finance, and mathematics. In addition, I steered end-to-end procurement processes from acquisition to executing specialized projects to improve operational efficiency; reporting directly to the Dean. ★ Delivered exceptional performance in multi-faceted role spanning diverse needs; aligned acquisition systems with university’s greatest needs and achieved increased efficiency in strategic sourcing, category management, and policies. ★ Headed supply chain activities and served as rector’s official representative in educational events and government projects.★ Reported to the Dean and Administrative General Manager

As Head of National Procurement for the Groceries Department, I held increasingly responsible roles, each designed to push cost-effective operations and align the SCM with the company’s overall success goals. I reported to the Commercial Director, gaining valuable experience in oversight of retail procurement and managing a well-respected national chain.★ Devised and executed sourcing, purchasing, and ensuring distribution of approximately 2,500 items to 42 locations throughout the country. ★ Negotiated commercial agreements and produced sales projections for each location. Controlled warehouse and branch inventories, and managed annual purchasing budget of CAN$120M+. ★ Analyzed, designed, and implemented strategies for sales, pricing, and programs. Managed categories and supplier relationships, consistently reaching or exceeding objectives in sales and purchasing.

After completing a corporate management program for executives and working as an assistant branch manager for Super San Francisco de Asis, I was promoted to mid-management to oversee and improve the company’s purchasing, e-commerce, and customer loyalty program. ★ Negotiated, purchased, and distributed appliances, furniture and electronic products, awarded as prizes in a points system. ★ Processed client data, provided outstanding customer service to preferred clientele, and presented exclusive mailing loyalty promotions.
