I am the founder and CEO of Human Level Communications, one of the leading online marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) consulting firms in Spain and Latin America.I am the author of five books, Advanced SEO (2020), Digital Marketing Strategies (2018), SEO Advanced Techniques (2015), Online Marketing 2.0 (2013) and Advanced Web-positioning Techniques (2011), and have also co-authored several books that include Marketing with Social Media (2016), Web Positioning 2012 Ed. (2012), Social Media Marketing (2011), Online Marketing (2010), Web Positioning 2009 Ed. (2009) and Web Positioning (2006), all published by Anaya Multimedia.I hold a degree in Information Science (specializing in Audiovisual Communication) from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, a Master's in Marketing Management from ICADE, and an Executive MBA. I also attended math and science courses at the Tarrant County Junior College of Fort Worth, Tx.I began my professional career in communications in radio (Cadena SER) and journalism (La Verdad newspaper). In 1992, I founded Magenta Creatividad, an advertising agency where I created ad and direct marketing campaigns, web site designs, and corporate identity design packages.I am currently a professor of various master’s courses at institutions that include the University of Zaragoza, Pompeu-Fabra University in Barcelona, CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia, and KSchool in Madrid and Barcelona.I often lecture at both national and international conferences and seminars including the Search Marketing Expo, eShow, Online Marketing Expo, Search/WebCongress, FICOD, Feria de Tiendas Virtuales Walqa, and E-Comm Retail.I have published many articles on the subjects of SEO, online marketing and web analytics and many have received awards and are published in specialised newspapers and magazines, notably “Expansión" and "Emprendedores”.I enjoy spending my spare time with my wife Aurora and daughter,travelling, playing the guitar and riding my motorbike.
