Hello, my name is Fernando and this is my brief presentation. I hope you can get to know me a little more after this.I am a graduate in Physics (Bachelor) from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), having graduated in the year 2019. During my undergraduate studies at UERJ, I participated in a scientific initiation in the area of High Energy Particle Physics, where I got closer to research. With the end of my graduation and the advancement of technology, I started to get interested in the area of Artificial Intelligence - which motivated me to advance my knowledge in the area and consequently enroll in a master's program. Currently I am in the last period of a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, focused on Computational Intelligence, at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPE-UFRJ) and in parallel, I participate in a research group of a worldwide collaboration for research in high energy particle physics, where I work on the construction of an electron trigger in a finely segmented particle detector, using neural networks.I work teaching physics and mathematics to elementary/middle school students and once a week, for 4 years, I have been teaching physics voluntarily at a community college in a local church.I am a calm person, I like to stick to details, I separate my working hours well from my leisure time, always trying to use this time to evolve in my career and train new skills. I am a little shy, but that doesn't stop me from speaking up when necessary. I am not the kind of person who likes to leave questions unanswered, so sometimes I can be a little repetitive on important subjects to check if the thoughts of the people involved are aligned.In my leisure time I like to watch TV series, play games, travel, go to the beach, and see shows that I enjoy. I always try to keep my exercises up to date, but you know how it is, right? hahaI hope that after this you got to know me a little better.
