About Fernando Ocampo

For more than ten years I have worked in the financial and construction sector in companies committed to the development of Peru.For five years, I worked in the Peruvian microfinance system. I have led teams in financial inclusion, advertising campaigns, development of credit products and market studies at a national level.For more than three years, I worked in the construction sector, leading digital transformation, branding and marketing projects with the purpose of improving the quality of construction in the country.Since 2022, I have led the Business team at Hatun, a commercial manager that generates credit demand nationwide. With its 2.5k affiliated merchants, Hatun derives more than 2k monthly registrations to its financial partners.I am a Bachelor (2014) of the Communication and Business Image career at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) and a Master (2020) in Public Management from the EUCIM of Spain. In 2019 I completed the Sustainable Business Strategy program at Harvard Business School.

    • In 2018, I designed a technical assistance project in the field, together with Habitat for Humanity, which was among the 25 most inspiring practices worldwide in innovation at the UN Construction Contest 2018. I have led the team of eight Members who trained more than 150 construction professionals in the north of the country, sixteen agencies from Trujillo to Piura and built prototypes according to each local need. The award ceremony was held at the UN World Construction Forum in the Dominican Republic in June 2018.• It has been possible to increase knowledge of the product by 90% in the sales force and placement in more than 50% of the national level in the first half of 2017.• Redesign of educational credit (Ethnographic study, proposal of admission and training policies in the entire Northern region of Peru). It was possible to increase the placement by more than 500% per month.• Design and complete execution of the program to strengthen the loyalty of the internal public (more than 1500 employees throughout Peru). An improvement of 16% was achieved in improving the perception of customers about the quality of the service and the image of the financial company at the national level.• In 2016, advertising investment at the point of sale was optimized by 25%.• 40% increase in knowledge of products and services in the commercial market nationwide.• 15% increase in the result of the collection of liabilities through a national gamification campaign.• Redesign of all commercial communication of the financial company at the national level.
