2006 – 2007: Team leader in designing and launching a demo system of the new product Millennium Street Access. Millennium Street Access offers market places an intelligent order management system. This was a R&D and totally new area of development at Millennium Information Technologies. The demo system was a success and currently developing the full system for a client who was won over by the demo system.2002 - 2007: Involved in the design, development, implementation, testing, launch and maintenance of Automated Trading system (Millennium Exchange) for the largest debt brokerage in the world ICAP (www.icap.com). Major part of the project was to design and deliver the Authentication and Exchange Setup modules of the project.2004 - 2006: Involved slightly in the design, implementation, and launch of Automated Trading system (AEMI) for American Stock Exchange in New York (www.amex.com). The Authentication and Exchange Setup modules developed for the ICAP project under the guidance was redesigned by Junior Developers to suit the AMEX requirements.2000 - 2002: The first project involved launch of the second release of the Automated Trading system (ATS2) for Colombo Stock Exchange in Sri Lanka (www.cse.lk). The task mostly involved in testing the software at the customer site and debugging any functional problems.

The position was software engineer for the 3rd Generation Cellular Infrastructure Group (R&D). Tasks included researching and writing IS95 mobile standards required for CDMA mobile communication. One task was to develop a simulator to simulate voice and data channels in a network environment (C++/TCP/IP/UDP). Helped in different areas on development and testing the network for a 3rd generation cellular system, which had the capability to transfer voice, data and real-time video conferencing @ speeds of 64 kbps, 128 kbps and 384 kbps.
