The TTL is attached to the data payload itself ensuring the TTL is enforced regardless of storage (S3, instance disk, dynamoDB, etc) without the need to modify the data payload - Worked with a cross-functional team to create the prototype for a Data Governance System that aggregates signals from multiple privacy systems, calculating an efficient score for each and providing dashboards for auditor teams. - Led the design and implementation of a deletion systems re-architecture that manages deletion in over 100PB of critical data. New system used a batch approach with reproducible jobs that resulted in a reduction of operating costs of over 50% and was leveraged as an incident response tool for ad-hoc deletions and backfills - Supported multiple internal deletion audit campaigns providing evidence and tooling to help auditors validate adherence to policies - Active interviewer, direct mentor of three engineers and provide ad-hoc mentorship and technical leadership to a team of 20 engineers
