• Coordinate with Planning to assess and establish requirements for events, including pre-event consulting with planners and clients• Assess clients’ vision for events and recommend technical solutions and creative enhancements based on expected outcomes• Liaison between event representatives and property staff for all production related requests• Promote the use of the property’s technical and artistic capabilities (lighting, sound, video, room aesthetics, etc.) in fulfilling the general, unique or special objectives of events and more generally promote the property as the facility best suited to meet event requirements• Coordinate and lead production development meetings to proactively clarify and manage the customer’s overall vision for each event• Capture and communicate all production details for all relevant event spaces• Work with other managers (food & beverage, room sets) to create coordinated guest experienceProduction and Execution• Direct Technology team in event execution: call cues, coordinate staff actions (lighting, sound, video, recording, set changes, etc.)• Effectively manage changes during events and communicate them to all affected staff• Schedule and manage rehearsals, testing, and other pre-show activities• Coordinate with Technology Manager to ensure availability of staff and equipment for events• Attend applicable expos/conventions (may require offsite travel)• Network with internal and external vendors to support events as necessaryAdministrative Tasks• Develop creative ideas to enhance existing capabilities and provide new solutions for eventso Use existing lighting, sound, video and other features to add value to eventso Network with internal and external vendors to create new capabilities• Establish and manage vendor relations for all production-related requirements that cannot be fulfilled using in-house capabilities• Perform some administrative duties, including reports, filing, and processing purchase order.
