I am a software engineer with 9 years of experience on developing web management applications (full-stack, but lately just backend). I work on java based projects with popular frameworks such as spring and maven. I have worked on several big companies such as Xanadu/Matchbook, Insa (IBM), d-Core (T-systems), Andbank or Universitat Rovira i Virgili.Currently I am living in Ireland since late 2015 and working as a software engineer at Xanadu Consultancy Ltm. A company that provides software for Matchbook, an online betting platform. In this company we work with the latest technology stack for java based projects (Java 11, spring, docker, maven, microservices, NoSQL and SQL databases...). The company enforces a work environment that follows best practices around software engineering and agile methodologies. We work on teams of around six people, multidisciplinar (2 java devs, 1 UI dev, 1 automation tester, 1 manual tester, 1 product...). I am currently the scrum master for my team.Before I worked at INSA as a senior java software developer. I worked for projects such as the management software for the Catalan Consumer Agency and Gas Natural Fenosa.I try to be as ordered and neat when programming in order to achieve comprehensible and clean code. To achieve this I spend time planning what to do and how, but also understanding that time is precious. I also understand that collaboration is key in both helping the team or ask for help or opinions with other colleagues.I have a Master's degree on Intelligent Systems from Universitat Rovira i Virgili that granted me knowledge on the fields of artificial intelligence, decision support, data mining...I am interested in jobs in Catalonia (or any worldwide remote work), mainly around Barcelona and Girona provinces.
