I'm wildlife Biologist, with a Biology Degree for the University of Girona (2001).I'm associated partner at Minuartia consultants, where I'm working since 2001 and I have the role of Project Manager.Since 2004 I'm working in wildlife management and bird/wildlife strikes prevention at airports and I'm currently the responsible for this line of projects. I've been involved or coordinated the writting of the Study of the Wildlife Strike Risk or the Wildlife Risk Management Programme for 35 airports, both in Spain and abroad (Costa Rica and Greece). I'm responsible for the implementation of the Wildlife Risk Management Programme at the Barcelona-El Prat international airport (BCN) and the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas international airport (MAD). I'm also responsible for the technical assistance for the implementation of the WRMP at 16 other Spanish airports. I have also lead the works to create and monitor alternatives roosts for great cormorant in order to avoid conflicts with aeronautical safety.I also have wide experience in projects related to habitat fragmentation due to transport infrastructures (definition and monitoring of mitigation and compensatory measures to reduce the impacts of roads, highways and high-speed railway lines, and studies about vehicle-animal collisions) and monitoring ungulates populations (wild boar, fallow deer and roe deer), assessment of their impacts and conflicts, and management proposals.On all these issues, I'm author or co-author of several publications and presentations given at symposiums and international conferences. I'm member of the World Birdtrike Association (WBA) and secretary of the WBA European Regional Committee between 2015 and 2018, and also member of the Infra Eco Netwok Europe (IENE) organization. I've been teaching on different master and post-degree courses and other seminaries, and given some lectures on these matters.
