My work at Crealp focuses on the development of machine learning models for the prediction of landslides. These models will power the alarm systems in the alpine region of Valais.

My research at University of Geneva focused on developing wearable input devices and interfaces for effortless hands-free computer interaction after severe paralysis. See project xmotion/karaloop.I managed a team of 4 people and raised CHF 545'000 in R&D funding.

My research at ION demonstrated the critical contribution of sensory feedback for accurate decoding of movement intentions from human electroencephalography (EEG), and showed that the spinal regulation of feedback reflex gains via presynaptic inhibition occurs on relatively crude temporal timescales.

My research at the Bernstein Center Freiburg identified stable and unstable cortical correlates of human wrist movements, and demonstrated the feasibility of using stable correlates for reliable magnetoencephalography (MEG)-based close-loop decoding of wrist radial/ulnar deviations. Responsibilities: teaching assistant at Albert-Ludwigs University Freiburg in Neurotechnology. Course 2009.

My PhD work at IDIAP pioneered the first EEG-based asynchronous brain-actuated wheelchair. Responsibilities: teaching assistant at EPFL in Brain-Computer Interaction. Course 2007.

My research was focused at developing algorithms to recognize EEG spontaneous activity for brain-computer interface (BCI) applications. During this period I was one of the winners of the international BCI Competition III.Responsibilities: teaching assistant at University of Barcelona in Data Analysis. Courses 2003–2004, 2004–2005.In 2004–2005 I was an external student in the Biomedical Engineering Doctoral Program at The Biomedical Engineering Research Centre of the Technical University of the Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain.In 2004 I was awarded M.S. in Biometrics and Statistics by University of Barcelona.

At Gallup RD I provided organizations with data-driven insights on brand positioning.

At Corachan Clinic I scored sleep stages from polysomnographic recordings and prepared technical reports on patient sleep quality.
