From 2009 to 2017, I was an engineer/consultant at Normawind, a wind energy consultancy firm which also distributes wind farm planning software WindPRO and CFD software WindSim.Since it is a small but dynamic company, the tasks I performed there were wide, from carrying out typical wind energy studies (yield and site assessments) to defining the broad strategies for our modest yet ambitious R+D department.Our company is going global; hence I deal with a wide range of wind energy stakeholders worldwide which helped me get a glimpse of what’s going on.I would like to see a sustainable energy future in the years to come and think to myself that I contributed with a small grain of sand to that vision.
