Over the past few years, I have accumulated various professional experiences in different areas of Journalism.I have solid experience in writing and content production: between freelance work and full-time employment, I spent 5 years at Estadão, one of the most important newspapers in Brazil – and the oldest still in operation.Initially, I was a jack-of-all-trades: I worked as a reporter for sections such as Casa and Imóveis, wrote about economy in PME, did shifts as a Social Media, Breaking News reporter, and HomePage editor, and produced Branded Content.In 2019, I fulfilled a long-held dream of joining the newspaper's Culture coverage. I wrote mainly about TV, Cinema, and Fine Arts. I interviewed prominent figures in the field and wrote relevant articles for both the audience and the market.In 2020, I took on the role of International Reporter, also at Estadão. I was responsible for suggesting stories, conducting interviews, and producing articles for the online and print editions. In this role, I experienced historical events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, Brexit, the Taliban's return to power, and the war in Ukraine. I wrote about all of them, among many other topics. At the end of 2021, I was sent by the newspaper to Chile as a special correspondent, where I covered the 2nd round of the presidential elections on the ground.To this day, I still contribute to the newspaper. I write about culture, mainly Fine Arts.However my experience in communication goes beyond traditional print media newsrooms.Fresh out of college, I developed the project 12432, a series of investigative reports on human rights violations in state-funded institutions. In this area, I also worked as a reporter, researcher, and producer at Papel Social, an agency specializing in investigating rights violations in large production chains. I conducted research and production for documentaries and reports, and co-wrote "Vidas Tragadas", a book-report on tobacco production in Brazil.I also work with technology. In May 2022, I took on the role of Senior Subeditor at Glance Brasil – a news app from InMobi. In my current position, I am responsible for curating and editing articles from partner outlets and scripting videos for social media. I also conceptualize and edit AI-generated articles.In addition to journalism, I am passionate about cinema and audiovisual arts. For this reason, I pursued a postgraduate degree in the field at FAAP and a course at Casa Guilherme de Almeida. I have also worked as a researcher for the script of a fiction series, "Falta Técnica".
