From DIY training videos to leading a global learning program for a billion-euro company, here’s what I’ve learned along the way.Training took me across the globe—to Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Malaysia, and Sydney—teaching best practices to our teams in Asia. Back then, I came up with the idea to record my screen and ship training videos to learners before I arrived. It was a creative workaround that opened the door to IT, where our CIO asked me to launch the company’s first-ever learning management system. That was just the beginning of a career spent developing innovative learning solutions.While in IT, I became the lead trainer for Salesforce.com’s rollout across our global business. This whirlwind project took me from France to Sweden, giving me invaluable insight into our work in biotechnology. We tapped into mobile learning and emulators.Later, I moved into life science. I was asked to “transform training.” What started as building more eLearning soon became a mission to reimagine our approach. After being promoted to lead the team, I broadened our focus from training to full-on learning.Today, I’m building impactful, modern programs with the latest tools, including AI, to drive faster, more relevant learning solutions that truly stick. With new digital possibilities emerging every day, I’m excited about the future of corporate learning and proud of how far we’ve come.
