Following the global acquisition of the JAC Group of companies relocated to Hong Kong to the Avery Dennison Asia Pacific regional office. Integrate the regional JAC customers into the Avery Dennison Asia Pacific businesses. Raise the profile and professionalism of the marketing teams to corporate effectiveness. Implement global marketing programs across the AP region. Spearhead global new product development activities and associated marketing mix for regional release. Specific product / country marketing projects.

Full P&L management responsibility for business operations and staff. Local business consisted of importation, warehousing, converting, sales and distribution of JAC branded self-adhesive materials to the New Zealand marketplace. Staff levels: 6 people. 2001 turnover: $12.6 million with sales @ 137%, volume 153%, GP 121% and EBIT 157% of budget.

Melbourne, Australia

Market manager of the graphics / labels business unit, a $90 million Australian and New Zealand & $20 million Asian business unit. Responsible for product management of the existing product range including brand management, promotion, training, distribution channel management – marketing to the print and packaging industry.
