We built a Uruguayan e-commerce platform (website and mobile apps) that was live for almost a year and attracted several thousand registered users. Some of the projects I worked on:- Increased search lookups by roughly 400% after improving our previous solution by using Elasticsearch, adding filtering, sorting, and enhancing term searching.- Reduced the need for engineer intervention in order processing after automating all the possible statuses, requiring manual intervention only when a buyer/seller complaint was filed.- Eliminated the time engineers spent building, testing and deploying backend microservices by automating the entire process with CI/CD, saving approximately 5 hours per week.

- Reduced the time required for cloud resource creation, modification, and deletion by 95% (from 24 hours to 1 hour) after we created a tool for engineers to use- Optimized ETL processes to prepare and transform large volumes of incoming data for other teams to consume

Worked on several client projects, including taking ownership of an Android app designed for efficiently managing and importing contacts from various sources.

Collaborated with professors at Universidad de Montevideo on a research project funded by ANII (Agencia Nacional de Investigación e Innovación) focused on developing three applications based on the HbbTV specification
