I constructed a successful proposal for Direct to Phase II Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Funding for the Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies (BRAIN) Initiative from the National Institute of Health (NIH) in a collaborative effort with neuroscientists, engineers, C-level executives, and Principal Investigators (PI) at Rogers Research Group, Gereau Lab and Bruchas Lab at Washington University. I also supported the beta launch of the first wireless, fully-implantable optogenetic device by collaborating with Washington University School of Medicine.My responsibilities included managing internal communication flow, organizing supply chain, providing after-sales support, conducting market research, and supervising grant allocation.

I assisted in the development of inaugural neuronal electronics for wireless body monitoring, research led by Siddharth Krishnan, currently a post-doc at the Langer Lab at MIT, and participated in the mechano-acoustic device deployment for COVID patients.Key Achievements:- Designed and developed processes to analyze ~300 hours of physiological data sets of COVID patients collected by wearable mechano-acoustic devices to improve machine learning algorithms- Managed supply chain of ~30 wearables for clinical trials in Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Shirley Ryan Ability LabImproved fabrication yield of serpentine interconnect of wireless nerve cuffs by 90%

Under the guidance of Professor John A. Rogers and Mr. John Thode, my main responsibility was to write research and commercialization plans for SBIR Funding from the NIH for a real-time, cost-effective, accurate UV measurement and prevention system to reduce skin cancer. As this project ran simultaneously with NeuroLux's SBIR proposal, I had to do extensive research on both firms' industries to predict expected outcome and revenue stream, create financial plans, project potential market size and consumer base, and plan tactics to protect intellectual property.
