I like building systems from the ground up. I started during my education, coding on the first versions KDE desktop environment using C++ (korganizer, kxicq) using the fabulous Qt library. Then I learned about web development and PHP, and coded my first CMS, a homepage builder for DDS, followed by my own experimental object model driven CMS, used in my personal website.In 2000 at my first real job at Maximedia, I created a document management system for the bookreport site Collegenet.nl, which also grew into a website CMS 'Maxidoc'.A year later I worked at Allied Data., and designed new modem configuration software.During the ICT dip 2001 I considered a career change, got an education in Real Estate, and started on a private project for House Taxation reports software using WxWidgets.Then in 2003 I returned to Maximedia, and got to work on the Info-kanaal narrowcasting project, for which I have been the core developer for 10 years now. During that time I made massive changes, a complete redesign and refactoring of the system, and recently, moving it to a MVC architecture.Meanwhile in 2008 I started a company, first with a few companions, then continued on my own. I was a core developer on 'StrongContent', a new CMS for webshops, which was used for a number of websites, a.o. our own webshop Musicstocks selling guitar accessories, strong etc.Currently, I mainly work on Info-kanaal, and maintain a few C++ applications for Maximedia,
