As Design Lead at Kickers I’m responsible for all footwear ranges in the UK. This includes collabs, seasonal collections and school offering. As a designer at William Lamb, I've developed exclusive ranges for brands such as Barbour, Joules, Boden, Crew Clothing and Next. Product lines include heritage, casual and performance footwear for both adults and kids.- Designed product ranges that reflected each clients’ brand DNA, developing appropriate trims, materials and outsoles to reflect the brand’s personality;- Developed highly complex technical projects such as waterproof, flexi and comfort ranges;- Produced precise CADs, specs and technical packs for communicating with developers and suppliers;- Responsible for sample development from last, pattern trials and proto reviews to the final approved bulk seals;- Responsible for critical path of multiple concurring projects utilizing several tools, including PLM systems, in order to ensure vital deadlines were met;- Responsible for daily communication with Far East factories based on India, Vietnam and China. I also went on periodical trips for product development and material research.

Riachuelo is one of Brazil largest fast-fashion retailers, with over 250 stores across the country. While there, I was senior designer for the children's footwear department overseeing the design and development of multiple collections simultaneously. This included babies, toddlers and youth for fashion and licensed collections.- Conducted national and international research on consumers, market and trend insight to deliver appropriate key styles and levels of newness;- Developed large monthly collections from tech pack to final sample approval;- Responsible for keeping track of CTP and guaranteeing deadlines for seasonal collections and special projects were met;- Delivered detailed design briefs to suppliers, communicating routinely with external talent to ensure the best results;- Supervised junior designers and interns, providing guidance at all development stages; - Responsible for all processes related to planning, creation and approval of licensed products;- Travelled regularly to key vendors for hands-on development, maximizing their specialist knowledge as to ensure the best possible collections;- Worked closely with other design teams in cross-design retail projects to potentialize sales and ensure in-store collection coordination.

Grendene is a global leader in plastic footwear and the parent company of many esteemed Brazilian brands, such as Melissa. As a designer in the R&D department, I worked on key commercial projects, with tasks such as:- Identified product opportunities and presented design concepts for children’s accessory lines- Ensured designs were unique, yet consistent with brand dna and licensors' guidelines- Created briefs for children’s accessory lines for Sourcing and Supply department to guarantee the best products within budget and schedule;- Ensured that critical path deadlines for licensed lines were met on both national and international projects- Regularly presented proto reviews and design updates for sales, marketing and manufacturing teams;- Trend research, mood board development and design explorations for special projects;- Went on national and international research trips with a focus on fashion trends and consumer insights.

Curitiba Area, Brazil

Assisted on woven and knitted womenswear product development for the Lafort brand as well a budding leather goods and footwear collection. Responsibilities included:- Design and development of small leather goods, bags and accessories;- Trend research, creating seasonal mood boards to ensure on-time newness;- Researching and sourcing materials and trims for new collections, keeping a meticulous archive of all relevant information;- Keeping a critical path timeline, with weekly reports of all developments to the head of the department.
