Ceo And FounderAladtec, Inc. May 2005 - Oct 2021Hudson, WiAladtec was the name of our company and our software until we sold both to TCP in 2021. Our online SaaS system automated mundane and error prone employee scheduling and workforce management tasks for Public Safety departments throughout North America. At the time of the sale, more than 2000 customers and more than 130,000 users relied on Aladtec for mission critical employee scheduling and workforce management. Although my partners and I no longer participate in daily operations, we continue to be stock holders and proud limited partners at TCP. -
President / OwnerFeyereisen Consulting Inc Jul 1997 - May 2010At Feyereisen Consulting I worked with a variety of fantastic designers and programmers to build websites and Internet applications. At our peak we had over 50 clients. We provided domain registration, web design, programming, hosting, SEO, and SEM. While working for Feyereisen Consulting, Leo Langlois and I developed the first version of EMS Manager in 2002. EMS Manager was later spun off as the cornerstone product to a new company called Aladtec in 2005.

Electronic Technician / Tech SupportImage Sensing Systems Dec 1995 - Jul 2000Image Sensing Systems allowed me to lead an exciting project called the CamVan from idea to completion. The CamVan was a custom van equipped with a 40' pneumatic mast, pan/tilt/zoom cameras, the company's flagship product at the time - AutoScope, a generator, stabilizers, and multiple computers. The van was basically a portable showroom and demo facility for the company's products. The project was a blast! -
Musician / Co-OwnerStampede 1990 - Dec 1999Hudson, WiStampede was started by my brothers Bob and Dennis in 1984. The band performed throughout Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota until 2008. I joined the band in 1990 and played for a total of eight years. We performed at numerous bars, street dances, county fairs, city festivals and rodeos. We played We Fest in Detroit Lakes MN, Country Fest in Cadatt WI, Hodag Country Music Festival in Rhinelander WI. We warmed up for The Kentucky Headhunters, Ronnie Milsap, Ray Price, Neil McCoy, Billy Ray Cyrus, Little Texas, and Sawyer Brown. In 1991 we recorded a studio album of all original music at my FeyerSide recording studio, in River Falls, WI. On Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 Stampede had it's reunion and retirement party at Ready Randy's in New Richmond, WI. About 90 percent of the band members from the past 25 years were back on stage to perform the band's most popular songs from their era, to a packed house.

Production EngineerLind Electronics Inc Jan 1994 - Oct 1995St Louis Park, MnEarly on at Lind my main role was to help improve and document the production processes. I also built an accounting system for the company with FileMaker Pro software, set up a fax-on-demand system, and experienced my first taste of an online mark-up language called Rainman to build a company site on AOL. After leaving Lind in 1994 I went on to develop and maintain the company's ecommerce website on a freelance basis for the next 19 years. LeRoy Lind, company owner and president, has been a great mentor to me and one of my most valued advisers the entire time. -
Sales Rep / Sales ManagerWater Music Jan 1991 - Jan 1994Water Music was an independent music store in Stillwater, MN. I performed sales, sales training, PA design, and supervised PA installations. Dave Peterson, the owner, taught me a lot about sales, retail management, and business in general. -
Store ManagerThe Print Shop Plus May 1990 - Jan 1991Since this was where I met my future wife, this has to be the most important job of my life.

Electronic Technician / Technical Support / Inside SalesWadia Digital Inc May 1987 - May 1990Wadia was an amazing experience. The company was founded by Don Moses, his son Robert Moses, and several of the other founders from Applied Spectrum Technologies. When I joined the company, they didn't have office space yet. My 'job' consisted mostly of testing the company's new D/A converter by listening to awesome music played on awesome equipment, in Don's living room.Once the company had it's first office in Hudson, WI, I supervised a small assembly line, then did some troubleshooting and board repair, then moved into Tech Support / Inside Sales.I had many great experiences and met many amazing people at Wadia, but the greatest part of the job was working with the brother and sister team of Don and Judy Moses. They taught me much and I am forever grateful. -
Audio Engineer / OwnerFeyerside Recording Studio 1985 - 1990River Falls, WiFeyerSide was a little recording studio on the North side of River Falls, WI. With the help of numerous friends and relatives we converted an old creamery outside of town into an 800 sq ft studio. The facility had a small waiting room, a drum room, a main room, control room, two isolation booths, and a small office. A lot of isolation was packed into that space so we could record demos for bands essentially live. I had so much fun at that studio and will always treasure the many fond memories. At FeyerSide I learned about people, marketing, finances, and taxes, but most importantly I learned the value of a good business model and the curse of a bad one.

Musician / Co-OwnerThe Valley Boys Oct 1978 - Jan 1988Hudson, WiThe Valley Boys was a dance band who performed throughout Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota from 1958 to 1988. The band was started in 1958 by my dad, Steve Feyereisen (accordion), his cousin Henry Marson (drums), Lynn Johnson (guitar and vocals). Dennis Thorsen replaced Lynn Johnson soon thereafter. I joined the group in in 1978. At that point the other members of the band were Steve Feyereisen (accordion, synthesizer) Dennis Thorsen (guitar and lead vocals), Dave Waughtal (trumpet, trombone, vocals), Charlie Feyereisen (tuba, bass guitar, vocals). In 1980 we recorded a studio album at JBM studios in Faribault, MN. In 1986 we recorded a live album at Majestic Ballroom in Cottage Grove, MNThe band recorded and self-released a total of four albums within their 30 years. I don't know if a regional band who seldom strayed more than 60 miles from their home town can truly be called 'legendary', but if anyone can, these guys can.

Electronic TechnicianMicro Display Systems Jan 1987 - May 1987Hastings, MnMicro Display Systems built some of the first full page displays back in the early days of desktop publishing. I worked as an Electronic Technician assisting engineers with development, testing, and compliance issues. It was here where I had my first exposure to the Mac Plus and Mac SE.

Electronic TechnicianSargent Industries Inc Oct 1986 - Jan 1987Red Wing, MnThis was a temp job which lasted about six months while I was laid off from Applied Spectrum Technologies. I worked as a personal assistant to the company's 80+ year old founder, Sumner Benedict Sargent. I designed and built cable assemblies for a a robotic project that Mr Sargent was working on at the time.

Electronic TechnicianApplied Spectrum Technologies Nov 1983 - Oct 1986Hudson, Wi - Minneapolis, MnAST was headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, but I typically worked at their small research lab in Hudson, WI. The company made short-haul high speed modems. Much of my time at AST was spent making circuit boards, wire-wrapping and just about anything else related to building prototypes. It was here that I first learned about modems and BBSs, and wow, that changed everything.Don Moses was the CEO and probably the most charismatic man I've ever met. I learned a lot watching Don do his job. He taught me there is no limit to what can be accomplished when you don't care who gets credit. I reported to Jeff Ward for most of my time at AST. Jeff was one of the most creative engineering types I ever worked with. He taught me a lot.The R&D team at AST included Don Moses, Jeff Ward, Chuck Hustig, and Wayne Olson. All four later went on to start Wadia Digital.

Electronic TechnicianEast Range Technologies May 1985 - Jul 1985Minneapolis, MnThis was a temp job which only lasted a few months during a layoff from Applied Spectrum Technologies. At East Range technologies I worked on trying to adapt a computerized pop-up paper target shooting system supposedly used by the Strategic Air Command into a computerized pop-up 3d foam deer target shooting system that could be used by Buck Masters. The job sent me twice to Alabama to deliver and demonstrate the finished products. The system didn't work correctly either time, and thus a third trip to Alabama was scheduled. However, I never made the third trip because Applied Spectrum Technologies called me back from their lay-off.

Quality Assurance InspectorDatacard Jan 1985 - May 1985Minnetonka, MnAt Datacard I inspected PC boards which had hundreds of components and dozens if not hundreds of reworked wires and trace cuts. This was by far the most boring job I ever had. Inspecting PC boards, cuts, and jumpers under a magnifying glass for a few hours was ok, but to do it all day and every day just about drove me crazy. When my boss told me to find a different line of work, well, it was one of the happiest days of my life.

Electronic TechnicianRon & Primo'S Tv Clinnic Jun 1983 - Nov 1983Hudson, WiWhen I finished my Radio & TV Repair courses at 916 Area Vo-Tech in 1983 the natural thing to do was to work for the local TV shop. I quickly learned that fixing TVs had almost nothing to do with the courses in my TV repair course. In the real world we had about five minutes to figure out what was wrong with a TV and about 15 minutes to finish the repair. Most TVs back then had a few big socketed transistors and four or five circuit boards. There was no circuit troubleshooting - we were just supposed to swap out parts. The best part about this job was the fact that the store owner, Primo Simmone, had taught himself how to set up simple databases and occasionally let me play around with his IBM PC.
