I have an unorthodox skill set starting with my education in both Computer Science and the Theatre. Internalizing a non-dogmatic culture of collaboration has allowed me to dive right into computer software development, especially among democratically managed teams.I have an innate mind for data, and the leadership and teaching ability to bring the gift of data vision to others, whether it's through interfaces which present a hundred settings in intuitive groupings, reports that tell the right story to the right person, or even just bringing someone along in an exploration of their technical questions as I solve a technical issue for a non-technical coworker.Pre-professionally, I programmed scripts and databases long before gaining my bachelor's degree in it. I have been writing games and interactive stories in Unity (C#) for years, and creating small addons and automated helpers in SQL and Excel VBA for nearly a decade. But a few years ago, my father who worked 30 years for Intel Corporation, died of brain cancer. His life inspired me to follow my growing passion for software engineering thru to a second bachelor's degree in computer science from Oregon State University.Since then, I have completed several short assignments and contracts, collecting recommendations and projects into my portfolio, and found interest in applications, design patterns, and data structures.I stand out in peer leadership because of my passion for collaboration. With dependency injection, a programmer has only to select the interface appropriate to an input file type and an output format.
