Feyiṣayo Aluko is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary artist hailing from Nigeria. She is best known for her spoken word performances at numerous places including the Radio City Music Hall and the Lincoln Centre, as well as her audio poem Aisha which won the 2023 Independent Audio Fiction Award at The Tribeca Film Festival. Her work lies in the intersection between spoken and written language. She uses non-traditional mediums to create poetry installations that explore themes of colonialism, migration, loss of language and womanhood. She received her BFA in writing from Pratt Institute and is currently pursuing a master's in Oral History from Columbia University.
