I am the Assistant Program Officer _ Agriculture and Environmental Management at the Environmental and Economic Resource Center (EERC), actively contributing to the coordination of programs related to environmental and economic resources. In this role, I handle the following responsibilities:- Collaborating with the Program Officer to ensure the efficient execution of EERC's programs.- Assisting in the development and implementation of initiatives related to environmental and economic resources, including coordination with the Malawi Office.- Playing a key role in crafting grant proposals that align with EERC's mission, under the guidance of the Program Manager.- Cultivating relationships with significant stakeholders in the fields of environmental and economic resources, including donor agencies, governments, research institutions, private sector entities, community-based organizations (CBOs), non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and more.- Establishing and nurturing vital connections within the external community to identify funding opportunities that align with EERC's mission.- Collaborating closely with the Program Officer to identify and pursue funding opportunities that resonate with EERC's mission and vision.- Working alongside the Field Officer to ensure the seamless execution of ongoing projects and research related to environmental and economic resource management.- Providing essential support to oversee and facilitate the successful implementation of EERC's activities.My dedication is to drive sustainable solutions that benefit communities and the environment in the realms of environmental and economic resource management."
