Develop, implement, maintain, review and continually improve the SHEQ management system, strategies, procedures and policies.Undertake hazard identification and risk assessment.Reporting of Injury on Duty to the Compensation Commissioner including first medical report, progress medical report and final medical report.Coordinate Occupational Hygiene Programs, Induction, Job observation, monthly checklists, monthly committee meetings, internal audits for subcontractors, toolbox talks and site inspections. Report, investigate and implement appropriate corrective measures for all incidents.Provide in house training for managers and employees on health and safety issues and risks including ongoing new employee and contractor inductionManage the updating of the SHEQ Management system to accommodate changes in legislation and Industry Standards, ensure SHEQ document and data control systems are maintained by the responsible persons.Promote SHEQ Awareness throughout the Company, monitor audit findings and recommend corrective and preventative actions and facilitate risk assessments for all divisions.Issue non-conformances where required, ensure management set objectives and targets for SHEQ compliance in the division.Co-ordinate the monthly safety meetings, ensure meeting times are set, agendas are sent out, minutes are kept and sent out to ensure that all support documentation in respect of the safety program is received on time and in the correct format from all concerned partiesAssist in appointment of safety representatives for all departments, communicate changes in Safety and Environment legislation to Management People/Development.
