Performing all or some of the following duties in all roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Managing project information and reporting• Compiling and preparing month end reports on a periodic basis, based on variance analysis• Conducting commitment and performance reporting, responsible for timeous submission of CoE capex report• Supporting staff and management on financial related issues• Closing off the project and transferring it to commercial operation• Performing financial planning, budgeting and forecasting• Capturing budget according to the WBS on SAP system• Assisting project managers to forecast on SAP system and track project expenditure• Submitting monthly cash flow, weekly monitoring and reconciliations to the Treasury Department• Monitoring invoice payments and liaising with Accounts Payable Department.• Assisting with assets procurement and ensuring Adherence to proper processes• Verifying assets• Reporting on Public Finance Management Act ( PFMA) and Ethics

• Presenting Public Finance Management Act to all existing and new employees • Consolidating monthly reports for the power station and presenting reports to top management• Preparing and compiling five-year plan• Compiling and consolidating annual budgets• Conducting cost variance analyses• Assisting line management to prevent incorrect allocation• Ensuring compliance to Eskom accounting standards, procedures and guidelines• Overseeing asset management and preparing cash flow for the power station and properties

Performing all or some of the following duties in both roles with varying levels of responsibility:• Conducting suitable audit activities to assess adherence to internal controls, with respect to commercial and financial procedures in the region • Coordinating and maintaining transport management systems for the region • Liaising with other business units on all matters relating to commercial procedures, standards and systems• Monitoring depreciation on production equipment• Investigating external and internal audit reports, implementing measures to ensure improvement• Processing insurance claims• Controlling cashbook and petty cash• Authorising payroll• Supervising staff and coordinating staff activities• Invoicing and recovering costs from external customers• Inputting purchase requests and service entries
