Involved in development of ImageTool as a part of Nero BIU (BackItUP) software suit.Project : Nero BIU Image ToolImageTool is an operating system. It runs from a Live CD or a USB flash drive (PXE/NetworkBoot). ImageTool is useful for repairing unbootable computer systems and retrieving data after a system crash. It also allows easy cloning of PC hard disks for a large scale system deployment solution on a number of PCs (Symmetric HW ) . The LiveOS offers two functions. The first is to upload the compressed image of a local harddisk to a FTP server, the other is to restore that image via FTP, uncompress it and write it back to disk. Network configuration is fetched via DHCP.
