PENSA – Agribusiness Intelligence Center – is a program of the School of Economics, Business and Accounting at the University of Sao Paulo (USP). An integrated research project between Economics and Business departments.Projects developed at PENSA: Integrated Sustainable Business; Strategic Management of Agribusiness Systems; Competitiveness Analysis for The Processed Citrus Sector, Strategies for The Development of The Internal Market of Fruits and Oranges Juice.

Agricultural production manager with strong corporate performance along with 28 production units, managing a US$ 18 million budget. Development of strategic plans of action on: continuous improvement programs, resource sizing, expected return, investment planning and project evaluation.Main results:Reduction: 37.5% of production operating cost; 44% of the cost per unit produced; 9% on the purchase of pesticides; 22% in the purchase of fertilizers, 12% in the number of machine/hours per hectare; 44% in the number of hectares for employee. Increase: 31% on productivity per area; 102% in the number of hectares for each machine.
