The activity consists in the design and training of a deep neural network for automatic recoloring of pictorial artworks from nuclear imaging raw data obtained with XRF technique. In addition to this, I developed a Python package for simulating XRF spectra and created a web application using Dash where the current status of the AI work can be seen. This multi-faceted project demanded a diverse skill encompassing expertise in deep learning, Python development, web application design, and Docker.This work was conducted at the LABEC laboratory, part of the CH-net (Cultural Heritage network of INFN), through collaboration between the INFN (Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics) and the University of Florence

I developed a Python code for measuring the deformation of civil structures. The code utilized the Frenet-Serret equations based on curvature measures obtained through optical devices places on the structures.

I took part of an ATLAS analysis searching for vector-like quarks. My primary responsibility involved training a deep neural network to enhance the analysis's sensitivity. Additionally, I performed various tasks contributing to the overall analysis, such as new reconstruction algorithm for b quarks. The quality of my contributions was assessed as 9.6/10. This job involved the use of C++ (ROOT) and Linux skills apart from the physical insights.

I completed an internship at the 'Instituto de Estructura de la Materia' (CSIC-IEM), where I studied the solution of the quantum forced harmonic oscillator (QFHO) through its coherent states under the guidance of Prof. Jesús Fernando Barbero González. This system exhibits remarkable features, such as the solution being the Fourier Transform of the initial wave function after a quarter of a period. These features have applications in diverse areas, including computing the zeros of the Z Riemann function in the imaginary plane.During this internship, I utilized tools such as Mathematica, LaTeX, and mathematical techniques such as expansion series to directly solve complex integrals.
