As the Deputy CEO I work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). I operate on a strategic, managerial and hands-on levels and to help guide the organization across programmatic and administrative functions. I bring proven nonprofit management expertise and experience in community-based programs, advocacy/organizing, finance, operations, and/or other relevant disciplines. I also Oversee the strategic direction and successful programmatic function of NSCDC Workforce Development, Resident Services and Community Building programs, including direct supervision of Program Directors ,Establish annual program, departmental and staff goals and objectives and track results against these goals, Explore opportunities to develop new programs that enhance housing stability and self-sufficiency,Connect residents to existing resources by collaborating with other service agencies,Work with Program Directors to develop effective community building strategies relevant to each team that help promote opportunities for meaningful resident engagement.

• Serve as the programmatic leader of the organization which includes identifying opportunities for programmatic efficiency, cross department programming and organization wide collaborations• Assist with developing grant applications and research new grant opportunities to enhance programming• Direct oversight of the Community Engagement Department, YouthBuild program and diverse initiatives• Manage and execute federal, state and private grants , partnerships and relationships• Cultivate and maintain senior-level relationships with relevant community and academic partners• Develop opportunities for new programs and initiatives that enhance housing stability and the community• Develop a cohesive analysis of NSCDC’s impact in the community using outcome data• Work closely with the CEO around advocacy & community planning initiatives in NSCDC’s target communities• Identify and build new relationships with community organizations, state and federal agencies, and businesses to foster new opportunities for the program.

• Produce and manage program design and structure for successful program service delivery• Manage and submit required reports for DOL, AmeriCorps, and YouthBuild USA.• Ensure successful performance outcomes related to job placement, retention, academic gains, and occupation skill development.• Assist in grant writing and fundraising events for YouthBuild program.• Monitor and assist in the development of the annual program budget.• Analyze program data and trends for evaluation and to identify new areas of opportunity• Ensure that all components of YouthBuild (construction, education, community service, case management, and graduate placement) are in place to sustain a strong YouthBuild culture.• Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of construction and case management, team meetings, staff evaluations, professional development, and new hiring.• Oversee partnerships with educational, post-secondary educational opportunities, and workforce partners, including regularly scheduling of partnership meetings.• Serve as a Liaison between the North Shore Workforce Investment Board and agency

- Developed and coordinated staff development and training to improve staff skills and abilities-Conceived service delivery of the integration of the Mentoring and AmeriCorps initiatives- Manage AmeriCorps & Mentoring grant, assuring compliance and service delivery - Supervise Youth Counselor, Mentoring/ Community Service Coordinator - Managed the Office of Temporary Disability Assistance Fatherhood Initiative grant- Evaluate staff on performance and provide opportunities for additional training-Support Director of Workforce Development in producing proposals and grants
