I focused my practice on intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright prosecution and enforcement, domain name disputes, and trademark and copyright litigation. I counseled clients on trademark strategy, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance, expungement, and reexamination; prepared and drafted responses to various agency inquiries, including USPTO Office Actions and TTAB oppositions; and drafted and reviewed a variety of IP agreements, including licensing agreements, assignments, statements of work, and SaaS agreements/master services agreements. I also counseled clients, prepared drafts, and reviewed general IP matters, including DMCA takedowns, copyright licenses, social media, and endorsement policies and agreements; assisted with IP litigation matters, including strategy, discovery requests, managed and reviewed discovery, and drafted briefs; and performed IP reviews of various corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. I also worked on domain name disputes, including UDRP/ICANN proceedings.

I worked alongside Judge Jones and his full-time clerks to draft orders, research issues, prepare bench memoranda, and observe judicial proceedings. I participated in a weekly classroom component taught by the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg.

I focused this summer on intellectual property and technology matters. I researched and drafted analyses of various copyright licenses among parent and subsidiary companies, reviewed recording agreements for assignment/work for hire language in a high-profile music copyright litigation, and assisted with various IP litigation matters.

I was selected as the Blank Rome Diversity Scholar for the Philadelphia office. As a 1L summer associate, I worked across practice areas. I researched and drafted memoranda for the litigation practice group on topics such as spoliation of evidence, hearsay, false advertising, and non-compete law. I drafted various 501(c)(3) IRS exempt status applications for client philanthropic foundations for the tax group. I participated in pro bono work as well, mainly working on an asylum application over the course of the summer. I also drafted simple wills, durable financial powers of attorney, and advance directives for SeniorLAW Center clinic. I researched and drafted memoranda on intrastate bank branching regulations and trustee removal during a three-week secondment to PNC Bank, N.A.

I was one of 13 Project Analysts at the Firm. I worked with attorneys to meet the needs of clients by drafting reports, conducting legal research, analyzing financial data, tracking regulatory activity, and monitoring industry trends. My three main practice areas in the legal rotation were: (1) Antitrust; (2) Consumer Product Safety; and (3) Employment, Labor, and Benefits. For the Antitrust practice, I mainly engaged with antitrust litigation. I reviewed and analyzed material discovery documents, planned and prepared exhibits for depositions, and assisted with responses to Civil Investigative Demands. I have extensive knowledge of Boolean searching in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Consilio Global RPM, Brainspace, and Ringtail. For the Consumer Product Safety practice, I researched consumer product safety law, assembled legislative histories, and drafted legislative language for our clients. Additionally, I wrote client memos regarding rule-makings at the Consumer Product Safety Commission and attended related conferences/seminars. For the Employment, Labor, and Benefits practice, I analyzed trends in executive compensation using tax data and prepared reports to advise executives and institutions in multi-million dollar negotiations, including employment and severance agreements, deferred compensation arrangements, and employee incentive plans. My data analysis forecasted levels of executive compensation in the upcoming fiscal year for peer institutions in the client's industry. I authored two such studies and contributed to several others. In addition to working with the aforementioned practice areas, I also executed projects for the Communications, Corporate, and Health practice areas. I occasionally co-authored blog posts on FDA rule-makings for Mintz Levin's law blog, "Consumer Product Matters." I also completed a rotation in the Firm's consulting affiliate, ML Strategies.

At SmithBucklin, I worked mainly on four clients: National Association of Healthcare Access Management, National Society of Genetic Counselors, North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers, and Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates.For the duration of my internship, I curated blog posts for the National Association of Healthcare Access Management government relations blog, "NAHAM News." I monitored and analyzed health IT news, industry trends, and actions taken by the Office of the National Coordinator to deliver pertinent information to NAHAM members twice a week. For the National Society of Genetic Counselors, I complied association member information and matched it to respective Members of Congress to create a database of targeted grassroots districts in order to lobby Congress on legislation providing coverage for genetic counseling in Medicare. The database included information on home and work addresses and home and work Members of Congress from a survey sent to NSGC members. For the North American Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers, I evaluated various EPA and DOE regulations and proposed pieces of legislation, such as SNAP and H.R. 8/ S. 2012 S. 697/H.R. 2576 respectively, for their impact on the member business of NAFEM. I also conducted a similar analysis on the 2016 budget proposed by POTUS and each agency's published 2016 agenda to determine impact on the interests of NAFEM and its member business. For the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates, I drafted a policy statement on sedation by GI nurses. I also created several "one-pagers" for Hill visits by SGNA members.

I was the inaugural undergraduate intern in the Appellate Division's new internship program. As such, I was also the only undergraduate intern at that time. In my role, I analyzed cases for finality per code to determine eligibility for the Civil Appeals Settlement Program (CASP). I tracked the status of all cases submitted for CASP by creating a spreadsheet.I also briefed and summarized ongoing cases for Appellate Judges and Appellate Division staff, including case summaries used by Appellate Division Judges in CASP proceedings. I collaborated with staff attorneys on research and adaptation of best judiciary practices available nationwide. As such, I initiated research and submitted highly-developed proposal on “Build-A-Brief” program to serve Pro Se appellants. This memo focuses on improving the Appellate Division experience for pro se litigants using the California Courts as an example of best practices.

I engaged in collaborative, invitation-only networking, leadership, and technical events and attended professional development sessions dedicated to strategic thinking and technical development.

As a research assistant to Professor Adam Ziegfeld for his forthcoming book, I researched election alliances and seat-sharing agreements in Indian elections using LexisNexis and Factiva, specializing in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections in the state of Gujarat.I analyzed local and federal election reports dating back to 1960 using Excel and SPSS to find coalition patterns. Under the mentorship of Professor Ziegfeld, I developed an independent study proposal regarding the status of Indian-American voters and the apparent disconnect between their conservative values and liberal voting patterns.

I was selected nationally as one of twenty-two participants in a fully-funded public policy analysis and research-based solution crafting intensive seminar. I delivered two policy memos for a final project competition to top AEI Scholars covering foreign and security policy, domestic policy, and tax policy.

I corresponded with and provided customer service to constituents. I used Intranet Quorum (IQ) system to organize constituent services and correspondence. I researched and tracked legislative issues using LexisNexis and Thomas, working closely with the healthcare legislative assistant (LA). To that end, I attended briefings weekly, drafted memos, and conducted research projects specializing in Common Core learning standards and healthcare co-ops.

I was a research Assistant to Dr. Theodore Christov for his book "Before Anarchy: Hobbes and His Critics in Modern International Thought." I researched and contributed to the chapter on Jean-Jaques Rousseau’s lasting effect on foreign relations and various interpretations of his work in the formation of both old and new international relations paradigms.

I interacted with constituents, drafted agency letters, and handled constituent casework (casework intake) on Intranet Quorum (IQ) system. I specialized in assisting constituents with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other welfare/healthcare services.
