    'Computer simulations of emulsions stabilized by anisotropic particles.'Lattice Boltzmann combined with molecular dynamics is used to simulate particle stabilized emulsions. Such emulsions play a role amongst other things in food and medicine. The project is focused on particles with anisotropic shape as well as particles with areas of different surface wettability (Janus particles). In order to obtain a deeper understanding of the emulsions' behavior, the adsorption of single particle and particle ensemble at a fluid-fluid interface is studied.
