Hello! My name is Cedric, owner of FH Defense.FH Defense specializes in de-escalation, conflict avoidance, personal self-defense, combatives for CCW and workplace violence prevention instruction.I was born and raised in Europe. I have a BA in physical education and an MA in Pedagogy (teaching). As a 6-year security professional and 14-year Law Enforcement veteran, I have served in the roles of SWAT Operator, Defensive-Tactics instructor, Field Training Officer and Gang/Violent Crimes Detective. As Defensive-Tactics instructor, I was an integral part in re-designing and modernizing the arrest and control curriculum for the entire Chico Police Department.Additionally, I am an Instructor at the Butte College Law enforcement academy, where I designed and implemented the tactical fitness portion of physical training. I am a curriculum design specialist and a use of force expert with extensive training in tactical conduct and de-escalation.Prior to my career in Law Enforcement, I competed on the amateur and professional level in kickboxing and MMA. I have has 20 + years of experience training and coaching various martial art styles. Additionally I am Gracie Survival Tactics and Krav Maga instructor certified and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt.
