Techanis's main product was a Bluetooth file broadcasting system used in places such as restaurants and museums to send relevant information to customers and visitors using Bluetooth automatically. The client application was a multi-threaded, event-driven C program that connected to a MySQL database to get the files and sending schedules, and the backend was written in Perl CGI and was used by the system administrators to manage the behavior of the clients.
