Responsible for the development of the Maintenance module of the new version of Marjolein. Marjolein is an IBM Case Manager solution. It replaces the old Marjolein which was based upon FileNet BPF. I also help setting up the case types within the solution which are the base for all the cases that will be registered within the solution. Mainly using Java, Javascript/Dojo-framework, HTML, CSS, SQL. Troubleshooting the old environments of Marjolein and Subsidieplein as well. So basically a FileNet, IBM troubleshooter that gets the job done.

Responsible for the upgrade from FileNet 4.5.1 to 5.2.0.3. Installation of the FileNet software for in place upgrades are done by me. Three critical highly available applications were upgraded: Subsidieplein, SubsidiepleinLight and Marjolein. I was also the technical project lead for all the changes that were needed for the custom software build in IBM Content Navigator, Business Process Framework and custom created java code. Additional software, IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM Watson Content Analytics with the integration (ICA plugin) into the IBM Content Navigator were installed and configured by me. The Ministry was very satisfied with the end result and even named me a software surgeon, because we replaced the heart of three critical applications and got them up and running again within the required timeframe. We actually did it faster than estimated. The end users have not experienced any serious problems. It was a fluent transition from one platform to the another.

Based on a SCRUM approach, development of a new FileNet 4.5.1 system based upon the technical framework of Subsidieplein. I installed the additional components (extra BPF, extra Workplace, WorkplaceXT, databases). I am also responsible for the development of the solution.

Consulted management and made decisions about the hosting and security.

Designed, build, delivered and maintained a highly sophisticated government funding application. FileNet P8 Business Process Framework was the basis. We expanded this framework with rendition, document generation, webportals, timing mehanisms, business rules engine and some user experience. A satisified customer that got his project on time and within budget.Designed, build and delivered an Enterprise Content Management system based upon FileNet P8 4.5.2 that is so advanced that other Dutch government institutions wanted to see it for themselves. It is the only ECM solution within the Dutch government that is able to deal with all the different governmental processes while still maintaining a general approach.
