Senior Program Analyst, Overdose, Injury, And Violence Prevention
Current-Lead the design, writing, fielding, and scoring of Requests for Application to provide grant opportunities to Local Health Departments (LHDs).-Maintain contact and oversee all aspects of grant management for local health departments (LHDs) and other subcontracted organizations.-Monitor performance to ensure efficient and timely completion of project deliverables, budget spenddown, and program evaluation.-Provide personalized technical assistance and training to local communities working on projects to reduce the impact of fatal and non-fatal drug overdoses on communities. Interventions range from primary prevention to treatment and harm reduction.-Work directly with Federal, State, Local, and private sector partners to provide technical assistance related to grant funded public health and safety initiatives.-Work directly with LHD partners, such as law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical services (EMS), to advance public health and safety initiatives.-Manage direct reports working on all aspects of grant management.-Conduct primary research on LHD overdose prevention and response services through a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods including surveys, environmental scans, focus groups, and key informant interviews.-Present research findings and project evaluation results through various professional outlets, including academic journals, conferences, and communications pieces.-Organize and moderate LHD communities of practice to facilitate peer-to-peer information sharing and problem solving.-Write key sections for NACCHO's cooperative agreement applications to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
