I am a English, DIFC, and ADGM-qualified barrister practising international commercial arbitration and commercial litigation. I appear regularly in the English High Court and in international arbitrations across the globe. I am familiar with most institutional rules including: LCIA, ICC, LMAA, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC, and DIAC. I have particular experience in the following areas: international arbitration; civil fraud, art, media and entertainment disputes; shipping & commodities; energy work; insurance & reinsurance; sale of goods; and professional negligence. Examples of recent cases include: 1) US$300,000,000 SIAC international arbitration relating to the collapse of a dam in central Asia, which killed 70 people displaced thousands of families. 2) A US$160,000,000 anti-suit injunction in the ADGM Court of First Instance in Abu Dhabi;3) A US$1billion banking dispute in the English commercial court, concerning two loan facilities for the development of a mining lease in Australia.
