I edit articles on the science of running, sustainability, gear, and products for REI's website and blog, "Uncommon Path."

I’ve written about science, health, gender, LGBTQ+ issues, food, media and more for The New York Times, Vox, The Guardian, USA Today, Teen Vogue, Bustle, The Columbia Journalism Review, Man Repeller, Elemental, and Eater among other publications. My April 2020 op-ed on Long COVID won an "Arlene Award" for articles that make a difference from the American Society of Journalists and Authors. I am also the editor of THE LONG COVID SURVIVAL GUIDE (The Experiment, 2022) which was the 2022 Foreword INDIES Gold Winner in Health.

I helped to relaunch, and then managed, wrote, and edited a monthly newsletter with an average open rate of 40%, focused on sharing information about telehealth trends, eating disorder treatment, the anti-diet movement, and weight-stigma awareness.

I directed all editorial content at Bell+Ivy, a personal and team branding agency. I supported clients with newsletters, book projects, columns, op-eds, white papers, and more. I developed and maintained a list of trusted freelance writers, content creators, and editorial platforms, and led editorial strategy for client campaigns.

I directed communications for the launch of new non-profit organizations, managed a social media calendar and staff, created press resources, and led the editorial process for white papers.

I co-founded, launched, and curated programming for the IJCC – a virtual community serving working independent journalists and creators, housed by CUNY’s Newmark Journalism School.

I founded and led the Body Politic events series from 2018-2020, which hosted bi-monthly events on health justice. I developed partnerships with brands like Thinx, Spindrift, Book Culture, Man Repeller, MOFAD, and The Phluid Project. In 2020, I co-founded the Body Politic COVID-19 Support Group on Slack, which provides resources and emotional support to thousands of COVID-19 patients around the world, and has been featured in Forbes, The Atlantic, The New York Times, Fast Company, and CNN, among other platforms. I led content creation for Body Politic’s blog and newsletter, managed media relations, and served as a Body Politic representative and subject matter expert on Covid-19 patient issues for the CDC, WHO, NIH, and POTUS Task Force on Covid-19 Equity.

I worked as a producer on the COVID-19 docuseries, “The Road to a Vaccine” produced by Johnson & Johnson and hosted by Lisa Ling, and a script-writer on the Johnson & Johnson awards series “Champions of Science.”
