Compliance and Reporting:Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.Leading the financial audit, insurance renewal process, HSQF audit, and reviewing financial policies and procedures.Facilitating ACNC reporting and tax compliance, including FBT and GST.Preparing accurate and timely monthly management and board reports for review by the CEO and COO.Presenting reports to the Audit Risk and Finance Committee.Driving and preparing the budgeting and reforecasting process across the organization.Conducting in-depth analysis of business performance, providing valuable insights to various departments and comparing market trends.Managing cash flow and optimizing working capital to support business growth.Driving and facilitating process improvement initiatives.Ensuring HR, ATO, Superannuation & Workcover compliance and adherence.Reviewing accounting policies and procedures.Engaging with stakeholders, including the board of directors, banks, auditors, suppliers, and various internal departments including work force planning, IT, HR, and client services.

Support tax and finance compliance, tax advisory functions, month end activities and ad hoc tax and finance related projects to ensure timely and accurate compliance with regulatory Authorities and the provision of information and advice to internal and external stakeholders.

Employed as the company’s Financial Account, my role comprises supporting the General Manager with the accounting and finance functions of the business. In addition to delivering comprehensive financial reporting, I provide accounting support and supervision to junior staff (across payroll, AP and AR) and take care of all statutory reporting.

Reporting to the company Directors, it was my role to prepare financial accounts, complete income tax returns and general-purpose reports, and to provide business and tax advice to our broad client base made up of companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.

Reporting to the Principal Director, I was employed to prepare personal, company, and trust tax returns and financials. This role comprised full-spectrum accounting tasks such as completing and finalising monthly, quarterly and annual financial and business activity statements for multiple entities (including GL recs, bank recs and month-end adjustments and apportionments).
