In a growing R & D team of therapists, doctors, PhD students and other researchers, I take care of the technical support and advise in all aspects of the movement laboratory. Which includes:- During my work in R & D Heliomare I have advised several times by purchasing new equipment and a clear role with the classification of the new lab in 2013.- Training and support of our personnel using and interpreting exercise tests, EMG, forceplates and video.- Customizing the equipment by developing or modifying parts of the systems, software programming and calibration of the systems.- Contacts with suppliers and manufacturers on delivery, repair and maintenance of the equipment. Many manufacturers handed over some repairs to me with confidence.During gait analysis, exercise tests and other measurements, I’m in contact with different patient groups, including people with cerebral palsy, brain injury or spinal cord injury. Subsequently, during and after the measurement advice brought forward to treatment teams for adults and children.

Bij dit evenement ben ik vanaf het begin bij de organisatie betrokken. Door mijzelf technieken eigen te maken ben ik instaat geweest om de complete website te bouwen, drukwerk te inventariseren en te ontwerpen, communicatie te verzorgen en technische vraagstukken op te lossen. Kortom een duidelijke meerwaarde als duizendpoot.De HandbikeBattle is een sportieve handbikewedstrijd in Oostenrijk tussen handbiketeams van revalidatiecentra. De HBB staat ook open voor individuele handbikers. Deelnemers uit gastland Oostenrijk en andere landen zijn ook van harte welkom op de wedstrijddag: donderdag 26 juni 2014. Woensdag 25 juni en vrijdag 27 juni zijn uitwijkdata bij mindere weersomstandigheden.Strijdtoneel is de klim richting de Kaunertaler gletscher in Tirol, Oostenrijk. Een waardige uitdaging voor handbikers van alle niveau's. Voor sommigen een pure wedstrijd voor anderen de sportieve uitdaging van het jaar! Welk team en welke handbikers gaan naar huis met de fel begeerde Battle prijzen? Ga de strijd aan met de berg, jezelf en de tegenstanders! De site zal de komende tijd van alle informatie worden voorzien. Tot ziens in het mooie en gastvrije Kaunertal in Oostenrijk.

During this internship, I studied the relation between energy cost and keeping balance. This question of increased energy consumption during gait was there in patients of rehabilitationcenter. After a scientific publication is there a research line within Heliomare R&D and several PhD students are involved with the subject balance and energy.

"Develop a clear overview of the student results in the driving simulator of the company Green Dino". This assignment was at the university, built by me during the internship. I made and presented various concepts. These ideas are now included in the current simulation software.
