All purchasing include factors such as delivery and handling, Inventory in and out Control.Major job responsibilities are  Managing the competitive bidding process; Screen and certify university suppliers, contractors and consultants; Source and expedite orders; Ensure compliance with University Delegation of Authority policy; Develop and manage supplier relationships; Provide contract negotiation, administration and consultation services; Lead the development of Strategic Sourcing relationships; Provide purchasing performance evaluation, benchmarking & reporting; Client Resource – managing and reporting on procurement expenditures; Develop, review and updating procurement process and documentation; Establishing and deployment of product standards; Procurement Contract Reporting – PeopleSoft, Contract and Bid Management System; Audit Compliance; Supply Chain Management policy and procedure development & communication; Ensure compliance with university policies, competitive bidding laws and Government legislation; Employ ethical procurement practices and provide counsel to clients; Participate in cooperative purchasing initiatives and consortiums; Provide product and market research to departments/faculties; Provide procurement resource expertise, guidance and consultation relating to procurement technology, tools, competitive bid processes, product and market research; Ensure the products and services the University procures adhere to the university’s policies on environmental and social responsibility.

 Overall responsible for stock/inventory of University of Haripur Day to day transactions. To maintain records, possess internal & external co‐ordination with department /sections  Maintaining register and filing works  Ensuring the daily requirement and follow up the same for purchase. Conducting physical verification of goods and ensuring smooth inflow and outflow of goods .  Making dispatch plan as per requirement of department/section. Product management, including ordering, receiving, handling damaged products, and returns.
