I conducted an extensive research study on wastewater management and water conservation in Bangalore, Karnataka. This research involved visiting various sewage treatment plants across the city to analyze their wastewater management processes and assess the effectiveness of different treatment technologies. In addition, I evaluated several water conservation projects, including rainwater harvesting initiatives, to understand their implementation and impact. My study also included field visits to both rural villages and urban areas, including panchayats, to compare sewage management practices in these contrasting environments. This comparative analysis highlighted the differences in infrastructure and challenges faced by rural and urban areas. Based on my findings, I proposed several projects and initiatives aimed at improving sewage management and enhancing water conservation efforts, addressing identified gaps and optimizing current practices.
