A 480-hour, Project-Based internship by the Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Tasks worked on:1) Coding webpages using Hypertext Mark-up Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.2) Programming and computer science fundamentals, as well as software engineeringbest practices.3) Version control and collaborative software development with Git and GitHub.4) Developing full-stack applications with in-demand technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Python with Django, and Express with Node.js.5) Building secure full-stack applications by leveraging common design andarchitectural patterns like model-view-controller (MVC) and Representational StateTransfer (REST).6) Safely modeling and storing data in SQL and NoSQL databases.7) Consuming and integrating third-party application programming interfaces (APIs) in an application.8) Front-end web application development with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.9) Deploying applications to the web via cloud-based hosting.10) Implementing common data structures encountered in technical interview situations, such as linked lists and trees.11) Solving algorithmic challenges and analyzing the computational complexity of algorithms using Big O notation.

Worked at Fire Protection Department with Compliance & Operational Excellence Group (C&OEG), Tasks worked on:1) Developing the safety web-page interface using the process of interaction design, resulting in an incremental of System Usability Scale score from 62.25 to 87.50.2) Define the problems in the safety web-page and collect requirements using surveys and interviews.3) Designing 3 alternatives proposed design solutions that give a close-up overview of users’ needs using sketching via InVesionApp.4) Prototyping the final design by combining the advantages of each alternative design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.5) Evaluating outcomes by comparing the new safety webpage interface with the old one using the System Usability Scale.6) Transfering knowledge to the IT team by documenting the work, organizing the code, and writing comments.7) Presenting the project in the presence of the department’s manager, management teams, IT group, and C&OEG.8) Volunteering in developing the main webpage of the department by creating an assessment survey that has been approved and published on the Aramco survey system with the participation of more than 300 people.9) Updating the Incident Statistics Summary Report every week.10) Completed selected E-learning courses: Information Security Essentials (ISE), Phishing, Introduction to Operational Excellence, Injury Reporting and Investigation, Safety Handbook, Report and Processing Near Miss, Reporting Safety Observation.11 ) Updating status report of completion of OE Concept Course based on new data.12) Attending OE Self-Assessment 2019 Review Meeting and captured all important points during the meeting.13) Responsible for monitoring the progress work by contributing to send more than 50 follow up emails.14) Managing and organizing the department’s information by entering the required data correctly and quickly.
