Carrying out external/internal surveys of the Virgin Media, Copper Telco, CATV coax and Fibre cable network (to/from Hub sites, street mux/distribution cabinets and MDU blocks). Producing Network designs, estimate of costs and work packs associated with the diversion of same plant described, in order to facilitate the construction of New Development sites and/or the enlarging/reduction of (footway/carriageway) existing Road's/street's (with regards to the New Roads and Streets Works Act). Producing designs and costs for the provision of VM services to New Development sites. Project managing the work until all completed on site, including supply of in-put to cost recovery teams. Providing planning soultion in order to rectify/repair damaged virgin media plant in the external network.

Gillingham & Croydon

Amending/refining contract Planners RF/CATV & Telco design of job Areas (Main Build). Producing Civils (duct), Rf/CATV Telco (copper D/Sides to street cabinets/DP's and fibre cable links for 2 meg pipes and above) designs for Business and Residential customers. Planning the Installation of fibre cables in the network with capacity to serve business customers and provide uplift within the Telewest network.

Planning new line provision for residential and business customers. Creating distribution points and street distribution nodes/cabinet's. Planning and producing work packs for uplift to exausted distribution cabinets. Planning civils route for trunk telco cables including the planning of various types of footway/carriageway chambers and manholes. Liaising with developers building new homes, planning and producing the work packs required to build distribution nodes on site that link into the BT network. Producing estimate of costs to provide new lines and build to customedr premesis. Producing planned solutions in order to rectify faulty cables within the BT external network.
