For 8 years I had been involved with the development, distribution and implementation of Ultra energy efficient lighting systems for the commercial world of Facilities Maintenance and Property Management. Through my education and experience in the Architectural profession, I posess a keen understanding of building performance and it's direct relationship to lighting systems and how they impact a building owner's bottom line.As the Vice President of Global Marketing and building sciences for Cavet Technologies Inc. my responsibilities included Global Marketing resources, Building Science and product training, Global Trade-show organization and support, Channel marketing strategies, Distribution support and Supply Chain Management.Finding the right product for the right market led me to the LumiSmart Intelligent Lighting Controller.

As a senior Job Captain and project designer I was involved with all aspects of Condominium design and construction. Working with some very talented colleagues afforded me the privilege of learning from some of the best designers and Architects in Canada.My day to day responsibilities included; Architectural design, job captain, design development, working drawing production, project co-ordination, working with consultants and clients at co-ordination meetings and advisement meetings, Network administration and support, preparing marketing schedules and marketing documentation, presentation drawings (both on computer and by hand), building envelope design, 3D modeling and visualization, Ontario Building Code analysis, Municipal By-law analysis, project programs and site investigation. Under the direct supervision of a Project Architect, I accrued invaluable experience and aspire to continue learning and studying Architecture in detail. I prepared the office standards and setup an in house “Intranet” utilizing Internet Explorer and a web based system whereby, common blocks, drawing pages, typical details, notes, dimension styles, font styles, layer sets, typical notes and many other drawings are at the disposal of all of the drafting staff. This system standardized the office and ensured that every drawing looked identical in style and “feel”. I also have experience with Site Plan approval, Committee of Adjustment applicatons, rezoning applications, building permit applications and plan variances.
